Related Items widget since 5.2.1 update

    The Related Items widget, whether used on sidebar or footer, has stopped working since the WordPress update to 5.2.1. Normally, I use Gazette theme but tried switching to two other themes (Astra, and Serena) to no avail. Other widgets work fine. There is no content shown for Related Items.

    I cannot reproduce this with Encyclopedia Lite 1.7.27, WordPress 5.2.1 and Twenty Seventeen 2.2

    Really? How odd. Just tried Twenty Seventeen 2.2 with the same/current versions of Encyclopedia Lite & WordPress. Nothing. Actually, none of the Enyclopedia widgets are working.

    If I delete and reinstall the plugin, will the posts be preserved and then retain their content once reactivated?

    I checked the widgets and they are working fine. (I know it is obvious but the related entries widget will be displayed only if there are related entries.)
