• On all my posts there is a Related Blogs below that lists 10-20 other blogs with links. Is there a way to remove these Related Blogs?

    Thanks,

  • If they appear only on the posts pages, go to your theme folder and check the single.php file. Those links could be there.

    The links were not there.

I think it might be a plugin that I installed called Deep Link Engine but when I removed it, the Related Blogs were still there. Not sure why I am getting this list of unrelated links to other blogs.

I’m having exactly the same problem. Installed Deep Link Engine. Now I have a list of totally unrelated blogs under a ‘Related Blogs’ heading

when you uninstall the plugin totally, are they still there? Are the appended directly into your post?

They are still there , in every theme! From searching the forums it seems many people are having same problem. There is no documentation and my emails are bouncing back from their webmaster! IS this a scam??

    Eureka!!!!
How can I uninstall the Deep Link Engine completely?

If you have never activated it, or you don’t have links created by DLE, there is nothing you need to do except to manually deactivate plug-in and delete it. If you already have links and references to pingbacks created by DLE, make sure plug-in is still active, then go to DLE options and click on “Perform Verify”. In the new window click on “Remove links completely” checkbox and select all blogs in the list, click “Process”. After processing has finished, no trace of DLE will be left on your blogs so you can deactivate and delete plug-in.
