The documentation for this plugin suggests that it should be possible to “Reject” a booking, but the option seems to be missing.

When trying to manage a new booking, there are only three options in the dropdown: Pending, Confirmed, and Closed. Should there be a “Reject” option in there too?

I managed to get a “Cancelled” option to appear in the dropdown, by enabling the “Allow Cancellations” option… but this isn’t required for this particular client’s website.

Again, the documentation mentions being able to confirm and reject bookings, and there is the “Reject Booking” email template options in the “Notifications” settings… but I can’t figure out how to enable the “Reject Booking” options. The client has been using the “Closed” option but this doesn’t send customer emails to confirm that the booking has been closed/rejected.

I need to know why the “Reject” option is missing from the dropdown, and how I go about enabling it.

    Anyone able to help, please?

Sorry for any confusion surrounding the wording in the documentation. Rejecting a booking means not confirming it, and, indeed, setting it to closed. There is no actual “reject” option for a booking status. It’s just closed.

When someone makes a booking that gets set to pending, the admin receives an email that does have the following line in it:

    Close: Reject this booking

Clicking the reject this booking link in this email will set the booking to Closed and send the customer an email letting them know the booking was not possible.
