    Hi there,

we are trying out the plugin and have an issue:

Reject All sets CookieLawInfoConsent as if Accept All were clicked.

With newest version 2.1.3, Reject All still sill does exactly the wrong thing. It creates:

    CookieLawInfoConsent:”eyJuZWNlc3NhcnkiOnRydWV9″

    Hi @dennistennis,

    Greetings from Webtoffee!

A cookie called CookieLawInfoConsent is used to save each category’s consent status as well as the CCPA consent status. In order to assist the plugin in revisiting consent instances this cookie is used.

We intend to gradually switch to a single cookie plugin. This cookie was made with that perspective in mind. When altering consent, the cookie’s value will obviously change. Please double-check it.

    Hi Webtoffee!

    The problem still remains:

    [1] Visit Website
    [2] Reject All
    [3} Re-visit Website
[4] Banner gone! Just as if you have accepted all.

So we decided to remove the plugin.

    Thanks anyhow
    Dennis

    Hi @dennistennis,

The consent status is recorded in the cookie “viewed_cookie_policy” when a user clicks on reject or accept. The banner will not appear again until the cookie associated with the plugin expires, ie: 365 days.

If you want users to revisit the banner to reconsider their consent, enable revisit consent in Settings > Customise Cookie Bar > Revisit Consent. From the revisit consent widget users can change their previously given consent.
