Reinstalling resmush.it

Hi! I have thousands of images on my site and when I upgraded my php from 7.3 to 7.4, I got the following error:
Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘resmushit.settings.php’ (include_path=’.’) in resmushit.inc.php on line 3

I found someone else in this forum with the same error and the advice was to uninstall and reinstall resmush.it. I can do this, but will I have to resmush all of my images again, or will they still be there?
