Reinstalling Demo Content

  • When I initially setup my website a year ago, I purchased a premium theme. I did a full install of all 90+ pages of the demo content, and then systematically moved all the pages I did not need to the trash. I recently went to my trash to restore a page to add to my site and accidentally hit the Delete Permanently button instead of restore (BAD idea to put them right next to each other BTW).

    Does anyone know if I use the Demo Content Setup feature and restore all the theme pages, will this have a negative effect on my SEO history, google Analytics history, etc.?

    I already know about it adding all the content such as sample posts, etc. back in. I’m not worried about that and can take care of it. I’m only worried about my website history with analytics and SEO.

    – Please contact the developer directly for support with your question. You’ll be more likely to find a good answer from them, for they have the access to its code. Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly.     Sorry, I should have also mentioned I reached out to the sport forum for the theme as well as my hosting service. Neither had an answer.

    It won’t affect your analytics and SEO unless you change titles and posts.
