Reinstallation failure
-
After removing Mailpoet, I discovered that the deinstallation procedure didn’t remove the database tables associated with it, so I removed them.
When I re-install Mailpoet, it somhow expect that the database tables are intact, and don’t reinstall them, thus the installation doesn’t work (missing tables).
Update procedure to MailPoet version “2.1.8” failed!
An error occurred. Show more details.I suspect there is a setting in options that tells what plugins are installed, and that the installation procedure check this, thinks there is an installed version, and do a update, thus not installing the tables.
So, I need to know what to remove in the database, possible a setting in options, so there is no message to the installation procedure for mail poet so I can get a clean install.
You should add a check for the tables in the installation procedure, and add the tables if they are not there.
Just my 2 cent.
NB: I did try the
