• A while back (under old management) there was a breaking change that affected a number of us who used Elementor with the plugin (link). At the time, a few of us put in a lot of time trying to assist with debugging, but in the end the only way through was to hack a couple of files in the plugin core.
I’ve since (cautiously) upgraded versions once or twice, but have occasionally had minor difficulties that make me wonder if there’s some legacy from having messed with core a while back. To be safe, and to avoid generating bogus bug reports, I’d like to try a clean install. However, I don’t want to lose existing data or configuration.
Is there a way to reinstall the plugin without losing any of the config or existing sermon data? For instance, could I wipe the entire plugins/sermon-manager-for-wordpress directory and re-upload from source? If so, are there any config files I’d need to maintain?
