Regulus 2.1 issues (noob)

My site is free wordpress version. So i only have features that the selected themes have. I dont want anything fancy, just a header banner, and a blogroll, or link area.

second issue;
sidebar widget allows for “links”
links are bookmarks in the dashboard menue i think.
iv added several bookmarks, none of them appear on my page.
(they should appear under the “links dissclaimer”.
