Regular_price

Hi @s1988 ,

Currently we’re allowed to enter only digit (numbers) in the field Regular price on the product page, however I would like to also add alphabets.

The price field only accepts numbers as pricing is always numerical. Do you want to add the alphabet to show the currency symbol? If so, you can set up the shop currency as per the steps outlined here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/shop-currency/

Thank you for taking time to respond, actually I want to mention text “per day” or “per month” next to amount.

@s1988 – This would normally require a bit of custom code to achieve. But, we do have this free plugin on GitHub: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-subscriptions-custom-price-string
This will allow you to define a secondary price string in each of your products. This will only adjust the price string on the frontend of your site.

@jricketts4 I installed the plugin, but a message is being displaying “WooCommerce Subscriptions – Custom price string is inactive. This version of WooCommerce Subscriptions – Custom price string requires WooCommerce Subscriptions version 2.1 or newer.”

@s1988 – I forgot that there’s still a dependency in that plugin for WooCommerce Subscriptions. I’m working with the developer to see about getting that removed, but you can download and install this one for now: https://d.pr/f/rWCYGL (I removed the dependency locally)
