Regular price changes doesn’t update other languages

  • Hi,

    I’ve just installed the free version of this plugin to test it.
    At first I was very excited since everything seems really good working.
    Until I discovered that when I update the price in the main language it doesn’t update the other language. Since I’m using WPML and this seems supported by your plugin, that seemed kinda strange.

    Is this the normal behavior?
    Or is this a bug?

    Hi Diederick, WPML creates a duplicate Product record in WooCommerce. We provide a Language filter when WPML is installed so that you can see the products by language to update the prices.

    Due to how WPML uses a duplicate product, the bulk editor sees each product and you set the prices for each. Hope this makes sense, let me know if you have any questions!

    Sad this can’t be programmed so each link to the original product get’s the same price.
    Manual labor = mistakes ??

    You should see all products in the bulk editor grid at the same time so that you can change them all at once. Be sure to click the column header to access the bulk edit menu.

    We don’t want to change any data that isn’t first shown to the user explicitly. We’ll do some brainstorming about how we might be able to show the WPML data differently, for now just edit all prices at the same time to update the other languages. If this isn’t working for some reason let us know!

    Strange I don’t see the linked items.

    What I do is selecting products that belong to a certain category.
    Then a list comes up with the correct items, but only in the language that is linked to that category.
    I can’t select the other categories of the other languages.
    SO I need to switch to the other language and the also open that same list to cross reference it.

    Any tips on who to do this so i can see both the languages?
