regular multiple post categories

  • Use Case: I need a plugin that will allow the user on the front end to check/choose multiple post categories, ie check box, and then display posts as usual. via Widget and/or shortcode

    Questions:
    Does this plugin only work on “custom post types” or will work on regular post types as described above?

    Do i need the Pro version to do the above use case?

    It’s been difficult to impossible to find a plugin for my use case. It seems yours will work, but before spending more time and possibly money for the pro version, just needed to verify that this will work for use case as described above.

    and want to use more tnan 1 taxonomy per search form – yes, you are need premium version

    Thanks, i purchased the premium version and have it up and running.

    In the use case where I am using wp regular post types, with “categories” using Parent/Child categories….

    is there a way to configure the widget so that i can toggle +/- Category hierarchies?

    Currently the toggle closes all categories.

    I tried adding multiple widgets, and hiding… but that looses the sort/filter between widgets, not inclusive but exclusive between widgets.

    this is what the widget displays using wp post with category hierarchy.

    Category Parent
    Category
    Category
    Category Parent
    Category
    Category

    this is what I’d like for it to look like, same as custom taxonomies but using wp category parent/child hierarchy.
