Hello, I am trying to register via google button and I get the message: “Registration unavailable at the moment”.

I have a custom registration form including custom fields.

How can I enable registration via google button?

    Hi @mor3311

Do you perhaps running a website in a different language than English? I think the error you see is the translation of the following WordPress-given error: “User registration is currently not allowed”.

By default Nextend Social Login inherits the WordPress – Membership settings ( WordPress admin menu side bar > Settings > General > Membership – Anyone can register )
This means if you have that setting disabled, the registration won’t be enabled with Nextend Social Login either.

If you would like to avoid this behavior and only enable the registration with Nextend Social Login, regardless of your WordPress settings, then you should navigate to:
Nextend Social Login > Global Settings > General tab > Membership
    and change it to “Enabled”:

    Hi Ramona,
Yes, it was because of the language. ??
I have a question – is it possible to decide which role will the user have after registering?

    Hi @mor3311!

We are using the WordPress left admin menu’s Settings -> General -> New User Default Role, to decide what role newly registered users should have.

In the Pro version we also have a “Default roles for user who registered with this provider” option:
    https://nextendweb.com/nextend-social-login-docs/pro-settings/
to modify this at each provider.
