Registration redirect

  • Hi,
    I have a site that some of the content in it is forbidden so when a customer tries to load a forbidden post for example, he’s redirected to the login page.
    In the login page he needs to click on the register page.
    I added email activation to the form so when the customer gets the email link for activation he will go to the URL I put in the setting but I need to open the “current page” that the customer came from and not homepage for example.
    I thought that maybe instead of the Email Activation, to put Code verification and by that not to go outside the current page.
    It seems not the right way to me that the customer will need to find again his previous page after the email activation link that took him back to the homepage for example.
    I think other websites use popups so the “previous page” is still there.
    I’ll be happy to hear on any suggestion / solutions.
