Registration process

    Hi there,
    I’m just trying to get my head around the registration process and it seems there is a step too many required at the moment for admins to approve new users. This is what happens for us…

    • User submits registration form
    • Admin receives email to approve/deny new user
    • Admin clicks link on email and clicks ‘Approve’ in admin
    • User gets an email and can login & post content
    • Admin then also needs to go to the main ‘Users’ section and click ‘Activate’ under the ‘Pending’ filter, otherwise the user is not added to the main list

    Is there any way this last step can be avoided? I know the user can access the site once the admin does the first approval but the user doesn’t get added to the active users list until the admin manually activates them. I had thought when the new users logged into the site this would automatically activate them but it doesn’t look like that happens.

    Any thoughts appreciated. ??
