Registration problems

Hello,

This is my first time posting to this forum and I am a relative newbie to WordPress so please bear with me.

I installed bbPress to allow my users to register on the site. However when the user enters the information and clicks “Register” they get a message that “User registration is currently not allowed”

What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it.
