• Hi,

I’ve recently purchased this pro plugin. After purchasing I realized that you need a paypal pro service for what looks like the one page registration and payment plan.

My client does not want to sign up for the pro service. With that being said, I’m trying to wrap my head around the best process for what we need to accomplish.

Basically I want to set up a Registration Page which will create their username. Is there a way to have that automatically point to the paypal payment page once they submit?

Also within that process can it be directed to a specific page within their account once they paid?

The only option it looks like I can see is that they create their profile, then go to the “My Account Page” where I would then add the paypal buttons to purchase a membership? To me this doesn’t make much sense and trying to streamline the best possible process. Do you have any suggestions?

  • You don’t need PayPal Pro. The forms work perfectly fine with PayPal Express. There are also other options besides PayPal.

If you look at PayPal Pro Forms -> Custom Return URLs Upon Success you will also see that you can redirect to whatever page you like after the user has paid.

I get an error while in sandbox mode with the form…

Error #10002. Security error. Security header is not valid.

I think that this is a bug with PayPal’s sandbox mode. You need to test with small payments in live transactions.

Getting the Error #11586. DPRP is disabled. DPRP is disabled for this merchant in live mode…do I need to have a paypal pro account for this to work?

As I’ve already said, you don’t need PayPal Pro. See this.
