registration password will not generate in email

  • I am using wordpress 3.8.1. Every time a suscriber registers to my website. An email is sent with an activation link, but no password. I have to manually enter the password on the back end and email it to the suscriber. The feature was setup to self generate a password for the suscriber to login. Is there a simple fix I can do to solve this problem.
