Registration Page Redirects to Home

  • Hi,
    I have just updated the wordpress to 4.7.4 and found that the Register Page is not showing anymore. On clicking the Register button it redirects to homepage.

    Kindly tell me if there is compatibility issue or anything else.
    I want to resolve this asap as I have courses on my site which user needs to register.

  • This maybe silly but did you check that in Admin panel => Settings => General, the membership box is ticked on (Anyone can register)?

    Yeah! It is already checked. I would like to mention here that my Register page and form was working fine before it just happened today after wordpress has been updated.

    And I can only view the Register page when I am logged in as Admin, however no one can be able to visit the Register Page and it is redirecting to home.

    Did you check the permissions module in the Admin => Page => Users?

    Are you talking about the user role permissions?

    Also, check Admin panel (left side menu) > Ultimate Member > Settings > Access > Global Site Access. Select “Site accessible to Everyone”.

    Yes! It is set to “Site accessible to Everyone”

    Also on my register form which I can view as Admin there are few issues as well

    1- “Content Block” field is not showing anymore.
    2- On selecting an option from dropdown another register form was showing but now it is showing admin profile page.

    You are obviously having permissions issue. I would recommend doing a theme and plugin conflict test before making any new theories as to why your UM site has broken down.

    The issue has been fixed when I updated the registration form and now its workign fine but the “Content Block” field is not showing anymore. I don’t know why.

    The content block issue should be fixed in this 1.3.85 update:
