There is a conflict with Elementor Pro v3.3.x

This was discovered after a full plugin & theme test and the issue has been isolated.

With Element Pro enabled:

When my Registration form has “Privacy Policy” enabled, submission of the form is not possible (no error displayed, it just stops).

When the same Registration form has “Privacy Policy” function disabled, the form behaves normally, as expected.

The issue is therefore because of the “Privacy Policy” function. I note that when this function is enabled, there are issues with the Show/Hide function (repeated). I also see error console messages that lead me to believe that when “Privacy Policy” is enabled that the form is duplicated on the page.

There was no issue when Elementor (basic) is enabled and Pro was disabled.

UM v2.2.2
Elementor v3.4.0
Elementor Pro v3.3.6

Update: I rolled back Elementor Pro to v3.2.2 and it works again.

Are you able to check if there’s any PHP error log created when the issue occured?

I’ve looked in the logs and I don’t see anything linked to this issue.

I updated Elementor Pro yesterday, still a problem with the Privacy field. When I click “Show policy” it shows the Privacy Policy page and then posts another registration form below that. i.e. Showing the field causes the form to repeat.

You’ll see that the registration form is repeated, just above where the Privacy Policy content is added.

Do you have the UM Register form shortcode added to the “Privacy Policy” page? Could you please try editing the Privacy Policy page to confirm this?

I can confirm that the Privacy Policy page contains no shortcodes of any kind, it is text only.
