Registration page automatically creates user using random username?

    What I did on my test site is simple:

    1. Install UM plugin
    2. Create a default registration page
    3. Go to that page, and there are just two buttons: Register and Login. If I click “Register” a user will be created for me with random username and I will be landing on that user’s profile page

    Is this behavior intended?
