Registration is a spam magnet

[Please do not post in uppercase & shout at us. Post title de-capped.]

At some point wordpress developers need to look at the registration module and figure out a way to clamp down whatever it is that spammers are using to register even after I add reCapcha and several other additional plugins.

Surely this is a known issue – I cannot believe you people in SF sit in Starbucks all day watching to see which friends wander in from Google, Apple or Facebook. Time to get to work.

WordPress has become defacto standard now, so now it is a mainstream product with high expectations from customers who actually believed us web developers who recommended it, recommended YOUR product.

Get to work and fix this spam registration issue.
