Registration inputs to image output

Can this plugin be mapped to user registration questions, then have the shortcode display a default image or icon within a page? For instance, a person’s astrological sign chosen during registration displaying as a default image for that sign wherever the shortcode is placed on a page? If a particular registration question is left blank, can the shortcode have a default not to displayed? If yes, can you give examples? I’m trying to build a custom profile page with a lot of visual material based off of registration prompts.
