Registration has been disabled.

  • I’m nearing the finish line setting up this multisite.
    Ive updated htcaccess and wp-config files and configured the network settings.
    When I create a new site then try to go to the Dashboard it says “Registration has been disabled.”

    So of course I’ve gone into Settings –> Network Settings –> and changed it to User Accounts May Be Registered.

    That didn’t work. I’ve tried all 4 options as a matter of fact.
    Help!

    are you using the same Email id to create a new site that you may have used for the main site?

    if not then you need to enable registration setting – ‘Both sites and user accounts can be registered’.
