• Hello friends,

First, I would like to apologize if this question is quite difficult and complicated. For the past 2 months i wasted all my time to find a solution for this. I think im hopeless and the worst is until now i still haven’t learned PHP. Though im already equipped with HTML and CSS programming, I guess those are not yet enough to develop a website here in WordPress.

Okay going down to my question…I have this conference website that scheduled this june 2014 handled by our company. I am using customizr theme. I’ve edited the template until it would look suitable to the I want it to be. The problem is, Although Im proficient in HTML and CSS and I design the template from head to toe. I have this very important page which is the “seminar registration button” and “exhibit space reservation button”.

So in that case I need to create forms which based on my research I find it that indeed PHP and MYSQL are the things that needs to know before creating forms that runs in server and stored in database. Another thing is, although theres a lot of plugins for forms but I think theres no suitable plugins for this kind of forms https://www.dropbox.com/s/zxo64gipnew1h90/asd.jpg

anyone can please help me through this. Your help will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  • Without knowing what the form is supposed to do exactly, it’s a little hard to help out.

However, you should look into popular form plugins (Gravity Forms is a good one), which is extremely flexible and might suit your needs.

But if you’re looking into a reservation system, that’s a whole different thing. There’s plenty of plugins for that too.

So basically — if you’re looking for specific functionality, there’s a good chance there’s a plugin for it. If there’s not, and you want to build it yourself, then that’s going to take a lot more than someone helping you out; it may very well be a very big task that requires a professional.
