    So I tried both user role fields (Radio and Dropdown) and added them to our registration form however when I tried to test it, the form does not provide feedback on the registration when it is successful, it just redirect to the same registration page without any success message. When I checked the Users, the account is registered but the user role is not set according to the selected role on the user role form field. It just added it as a capability (https://prntscr.com/ndjcwx).

    Firstly, when I add the user role fields it only has the Subscriber role added as default so I had to add the custom roles thinking that it will just match the form selection to the user role database, but its not the case.

    Anything I’m missing here?

    Hi @frost_entangle,

    It looks like a conflict with your theme or other plugins, can you please do a quick conflict test so we can rule out any conflicts and see if this issue goes away.
    Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    I have done the conflict test but the issue still exists.

    I activated a different theme (twenty nineteen theme) and deactivated all other plugins except the ultimate member plugins:

    • Ultimate Member
    • Ultimate Member – Friends
    • Ultimate Member – Groups
    • Ultimate Member – Online Users
    • Ultimate Member – Profile Completeness
    • Ultimate Member – Social Activity
    • Ultimate Member – Social Login
    • Ultimate Member – User Photos
    • Ultimate Member – Verified Users

    Registration form still doesn’t provide any proper feedback after the form submission, but the user is registered on the backend (and still without assigning the user role selected from the form automatically).

    Please resolve as this is urgent matter.
