    In the setting:
Add Your Own Message to Bottom of Registration Form:
Choose to add a special message to bottom of registration form: Yes/No

If it’s set to “NO”, it will display the message:
    “User registered, login.”

Instead of being blank. or showing after registration is complete.
This message displays at the bottom of the registration page.

Not sure what you mean, if it is set to no, then only the default WordPress message is shown. That setting is for if you want to add a custom message to the bottom of the page.

That message is given when a user email or username has already been used if I remember correctly so if you are testing it and using the same email & username that is going to create a problem.

Problem is, the default WP message displays all the time, even when it’s not supposed to.

    “User registered, login.”

    See picture:

I’m using wordpress version 3.9.1, with Norwegian translation.

Okay, look in the address bar at the top of the browser and copy that for me and sow it to me. That usually specifies which action is being triggered in WordPress so I can better track down the problem. I don’t see that message anywhere even in wordpress login page and I know it is not in my messages. Do you have any other plugins that deal with the login/registration form or a custom theme? Let us start with copying the address bar so that should tell me more as to what may potentially be happening first and list any plugins that have to deal with users/security registration/login or themes as well.

Or better yet the url of your site so I can see it in person.

Registration is not officially opened yet on the live site.

I setup a test wordpress on a local server, the problem did not occur there. I went back to the live site, disabled all other plugins (except this one) and the problem went away. When I re-enabled everything the problem did not return.

Little bit of a mystery and have no idea why it happened.
Sorry if I’ve wasted your time but thank you for your help ??

Just one of the nuances in the world of WordPress.
