    Hello again,

    I think after an upgrade it stopped sending the registration link despite the emails about the group coming through.

    I set manual SMTP auth for both Registration magic and Profile Grid and while both test emails came through fine…

    The registration link never comes through.

    I do have WP Mail SMTP installed, but when set to non manual those test emails come fine through fine via test mail as well as the group mails while using the mailgun server via the WP Mail SMTP.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you for writing to us.

    We checked the activation link email using SMTP and the issue didn’t replicate at our end, We received the email with activation link fine. Could you please let us know which version of RegistrationMagic and ProfileGrid you are using on your site.

    Also, to allows us to investigate this in further detail, please share your site’s dashboard access by creating a new admin user with our support email address [email protected]. Once we are done with our analysis, you can remove that user account from your site.

    Hi,

    Sorry for delay, I need to clone a site and remove the user data and other stuff.

    I’m going to retest tomorrow anyways since I’ve seen all 3 plugins that might be responsible (PG, MR, and WPSMTP) were updated recently as well after I made this post.

    Hi,

    It seems to be resolved now. I suspect it was Registration Magic. I noticed there was a section they added for pro version that it wouldn’t let you select email activations if not pro while your did. After their second update your activation links now work again.

    All good now.
