Hello! I’ve read the documentation but haven’t found an answer for this issue (previous relevant questions were resolved without giving the solution dammit).

New users do not receive a notification email. A new user submission causes nothing visible to happen, and leaves no visible record in the User section.

The normal WP registration works fine. This is our Profile Builder registration form: https://asjl.org/registration/.

Something IS happening though, because I can’t re-use my testing email address … it throws an error: “This email is already reserved to be used soon.
Please try a different one!” I cannot see that new user email in the backend.

I am not using the Email Confirmation addon; I don’t have clarity on its usage for our needs, and wouldn’t think this would be necessary to enable the function that is declared out of the box.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide!

A browser refresh cleared up the limbo email … I can find a way to fix the other issues. Thank you, it seems like a nice plugin. It’s surely useful for many.

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

If you are not using the Email Confirmation feature then users should see on the bottom of the Registration Form a checkbox called “Send these credentials via email.”.

If users don’t check this checkbox they will not receive an email notification regarding their registration.

The Email Confirmation Field add-on is meant to check if the email address entered matches the first one, making sure a user submits a valid and correct email address.

I am glad that you managed to fix this issue.

    Best regards,
