    Hi Chad,

I checked previous solutions and made sure I have a User Profile page setup but the confirmation email I receive contains [confirm_link] instead of the https://…… so can not be clicked by the user.

Any idea where I am going wrong?

Just another observation, when I visit the Password reset page, it then sends me a correctly configured link to the page and allows me to reset the password und subsequently to login. So something works and something doesn’t.

I also tried the Profile page selected from the Page list and as a direct link, both with the same effect.

Further testing has shown that sending a password reset link again sends the correctly formatted link. This confuses me as only the original confirmation seems to be erroneous.

[confirm_link] is only a valid shortcode in email if you have the email confirmation option enabled in the plugin’s settings.

If the shortcode is in the email unparsed (i.e. you see “[confirm_link]” instead of the actual link), then it is likely you do not have this setting enabled.

    Hope that helps.
