i have created both the registration and recover password pages using the appropriate short code, and they exist just find. i then adjusted the login short code from [wppb-login] to:

    [wppb-login register_url=”www.example.com” lostpassword_url=”www.example.com”]

and of course, i changed the urls to my newly created pages. however the links do not appear on the login page. refreshed page of course, too. i am using the free version right and am interested in pro features but thought i’d play withe the basics first.

what could be the problem here? i can share links and exact code if necessary, but it seems basic, so perhaps there’s a simple answer.

What version of the plugin are you using? These two parameters are only available starting from version 2.0.6.

Also, the links (Register and Lost your password?) will not appear when you’re logged in, you need to be logged out.

ok, so now i actually have purchased PRO, but when i look at the Plugins list in WP, it shows that the free version (now deactivated) was 2.0.6, but the PRO version (now activated) is 2.0.5. is there a PRO 2.0.6?

and on the side, what are my options for “priority support” now that i have the PRO version? should i be posting in the cozmolabs forum instead?

still have the same issue of the original post. what next?

This is strange, had a look at your website and couldn’t figure out why it doesn’t work.
If it’s ok with you I would need the back-end credentials to inspect this further (since the website is currently under development).
You can email them at hello[at]cozmoslabs[dot]com or get in touch via this form.

I’m sure we’ll figure it out.

No need to worry about the different version numbers between free and pro, that’s actually normal. All the features from free are in pro as well. We’re trying to keep the same version number, but sometimes we need to update one more often, which may result in a version number difference.

For premium support you can access our forums.

It’s fixed now. The shortcode was inserted to the Login page (Visual tab), probably by copy pasting which added some extra html that messed up the shortcode parameters.

Adding it in the Text tab made it work as expected.

thanks mate. been awhile since i used WP and didn’t even think to check the difference between the visual and text/code, partly due to the fact the basic login short code was working fine.

knew it must be something simple i was doin wrong, or i wouldn’t have bought the PRO! sweet plugin and thanks for being so prompt.
