registration age specific to product

  • Hi there,

    Thank you for your plugin that seem to be working really well.

    I have a few questions. I would like my customers to register their age when they create an account, (I’m using the add-on), but I would like my customers to be able to buy any products if they are over 18 but then only have access to some products if they are under 18.

    The add-on doesn’t seem to record the Dob, as it is not shown on the account page after registration and needs to be input again on the woocommerce checkout page.

    If the add-on is set to 13, but they have a product restricted to 18 in their cart, they can check out, unfortunately.

    Is their a way for the add-on to check the age of specific products instead of what is defined by the add-on?

    The other thing that I realise is that every product category and products need to be activated individually. Is there a way that products and sub product categories could inherit the age defined for the main category?

    I see what you’re saying, there’s been a few requests along these lines ao I’ll have a look into it and see how easy it is to achieve.

    As of now I have had to turn the addon off. It didn’t seem to save the birth date of the customer upon login and allow them to see restricted products without reentering their DoB.

    A little bug: unticking the box DoB at registration doesn’t remove it from the registration page. I have had to deactivate the addon to make it disappear.

    Thanks for your hard work though, it’s a great plugin!
