Registering usernames not accepting underscores

    I can’t find this in any of my setting, or know which plugin is responsible, But Users cannot register with underscores in usernames.
    How can I allow this?
    I have these plugins installed that could maybe have something to do with it?

    bbPress
    Bad Behavior
    Wangguard
    Wordfence Security
    Jetpack
    Akismet
