Registered/not registered view posts

I want to be able to have someone “register” to my blog. If they register, they can login and view “registered users only” posts or posts that that certain user can read and if the person is not registered, they can just read my public posts.

i guess, in short, is i knod of want to have my blog set up like livejournal… as corny as that may sound.
