registered users only plugin

I’m wondering if anyone else has seen weird behavior from the registered-users-only plugin. Since installing it I’ve had a user tell me that he went to the login page and saw my Admin ID pre-filled in the user name box. That’s pretty bad. I also had to hard code a trailing slash / into the homepage links in my theme because for some reason they are not there in Settings and if I try to add them they disappear. This was causing people who had already been logged in to be redirected to the login page when they clicked the Home link.

Anybody else have weird experiences with this plugin? I know there are a couple/few others out there that I can try.
