    Everything seems to be working fine EXCEPT

    User submits their e-mail, I receive the confirmation e-mail. I click the confirmation link – it brings me to the main homepage of the site… but… when I go back to the Subscribe2 dashboard, the e-mails are still unconfirmed.

    Also, as a registered e-mail I am not receiving post updates, I am ASSUMING this is because my e-mail has not been confirmed. Please advise.

    Great plugin.

  • @craig,

    For clarity, Subscribe2 has 2 subscriber types. These are called ‘Public’ subscribers – those who have just entered their email. And ‘Registered’ subscribers – those who are registered in WordPress and show in the Users->All Users page in the WordPress admin.

    You seem to be talking about 2 different issues:
    1/ Public Subscribers cannot confirm.
    2/ You don’t get emails.

    1/ Your Public Subscribers cannot confirm because requests to your blog with a GET string (as used by Subscribe2) are re-directed to your homepage and the request is not processed. This is either down to your theme or a plugin.

    2/ As a registered user (I am presuming you have admin access) you control your subscription via the Subscribe2->Your Subscriptions page. Check the categories in there that you want emails from.

    Figured it out, I didn’t setup a Blog subscription page which caused my issue. Fixed after I changed it to a separate page.

    @craig,

    Glad you got it sorted. I hadn’t considered that the required page had not been written.
