Registered user login action
-
Is it possible to specify the initial page reached by a registered user when logging into my site at www://classenalums.org/ (user “demon” with password “stration” will show what I mean; that demo-user pair is stolen from G-E’s timesharing system circa 1965)? If so, where/how is this configured?
My site’s users are primarily people of retirement age (I’m 84), and only a small percentage of them are truly computer-literate. At present, logging in takes one to the user’s profile page and this is quite likely to confuse them. I would like to go to the front page just as a non-logged-in visit does, with the only difference being the presence of the taskbar at the top of the screen.
Without this capability, I fear that many if not most of our audience will simply NOT register and this prohibits my providing more advanced roles such as contributor to them.
Thanks for any and all advice!
