This error pops up every time I activate CWA and goes away every time I deactivate it. It stops my admin area from loading whenever I update something, so while the update actually happens, the error is the only thing I see on the page (I’m in debug mode).

Notice: wp_register_script was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or login_enqueue_scripts hooks. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.) in /home/kzooradi/public_html/pub/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3560

Sounds like something needs a nudge into place, if I could get some help with where to look for the bug. Site is behind a maintenance wall because it’s getting a facelift, so I can’t make it public to look at. However the error seems clear enough. it doesn’t affect front-end functions, it just screams with every back-end update no matter what I’m updating.

    Thanks!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. A fix (v0.5.1) for this should be coming shortly. I apologize for any inconvenience. Thanks.

Hiya Curtiss, I hope you find it soon! I’m taking the site live tomorrow and will have to work around the error until a fix is made, so stop reading this and go, go, go! LOL!

I screwed up when trying to push 0.5.1, so it never went live.

I just pushed 0.5.2, which appears to be available now.

And I gotta tell ya, it’s a beautiful thing! Looks absolutely lovely and fully functional without all the back-end screaming.

Much appreciate your quick look at the issue!

I’m not sure if this will open up the topic again, but the problem is back after switching themes for a test, then switched back to the theme I used a couple days ago. Same issue.

The function works fine on the front end now, but on the back end I get the screamer about register_script, plus it breaks my access to my uploaded media files (I can’t see them) and and any update I do actually works, but the page will not refresh – it gets hung on a blank white screen with that register_script issue on it.

No additional plugins, and as before, all plugins deactivated and tested one by one. Nothing else is doing this =(

So sorry! I hope it can be fixed soon!

Sorry, one more thing now…this error shows up on the front end, when the Collapsible Menu widget is used inside a post that is built with SiteOrigin.

Notice: Undefined index: id in /home/kzooradi/public_html/pub/wp-content/plugins/collapsible-widget-area/class.collapsible-widget.php on line 214

Mea culpa, didn’t see this until I just tried it now.

Thanks again for the reports. Incoming version (0.5.3) should, hopefully, take care of these issues.

My hero! Everything appears fixed with today’s update! Much appreciated!

And now this topic is =really= closed! =)
