register plus redux plugin and general multisite blog prob

i have a wordpress website which has multisite installed. I need the register plus redux plugin which everyone raves about but does not exist only the export version!!! I need to customize the registration and create a blog page for new blog users to my site…does this plugin exist or is their an alternative????
Secondly and odd this has happened; when people register and create a blog they get the choice to upload an avatar…this option seems to have disappeared even though my settings are ticked to include avatars.
Thirdly when people register to the site and choose to create a blog; they get the activation link in their email but no reminder of what the username or password is all it says is ‘login using the details you created’ which some people forget.
