Register link takes to login instead in WordPress. Avada’s Menu w/ Woo Commerce

for some reason on the top menu, if you hover over my account, and then click register, it takes you to the login screen, and not the register screen.
It seems like the only way to register and it go through, is if you register through the checkout options.

why would the register link take you to login, instead of register?
I don’t understand what went wrong, it was working fine, and no menu changes have been made that I can see.
