Register functions fails – Spaces and Underscores in file names and directories

    Below is the error message I get. Which characters are causing it to fail? I have verified that directory permissions are not the problem. What is the list of illegal characters for your plugin?

    File name:/var/www/GlassHouseStore_com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/Stained Glass Fliers/2006-2010 Fliers/2010 May Sale/May Glass Sale Back.pdf

    Directory name:/var/www/GlassHouseStore_com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/Stained Glass Fliers/2006-2010 Fliers/2010 May Sale/

    You need to make this directory writable before you can register this file. See the Codex for more information. Or, filename must be changed of illegal.

    Please delete the space of the folder name.
