The form links back to the same page it started on, and when you click to register, it just reloads the page.

I’m not getting any errors, any ideas?

    Thank you!

    More information needed.

What’s the content of the page? Which shortcode? What theme?

    Yes yes, sorry.

I’m using a custom theme on a subsite, the page just featured the [join-my-multisite] shortcode, and it shows a button to register, but the url it triggers is the same page the button is on, and clicking on it reloads the page but doesn’t show a registration form.

The plug-ins that I thought might be interfering were User Role Editor and WP Security Audit Log, but they don’t seem to have any options for login in or creating users.

Also, I did make sure that new user registration was allowed from the multisite.

If nothing else, how does it call/get the login page address?

Thank you again, and sorry for not providing better information.

but the url it triggers is the same page the button is on

    That’s 100% correct. It’s supposed to do that ??

However I think this is what’s wrong:

and it shows a button to register

    and

but doesn’t show a registration form

It’s supposed to show the form.

Looks like that when you visit the page. After you fill in the information and click submit, it refreshes the page with your login success info.

Can you switch to a different theme? Yours may be clashing.

Yeah, I think that is exactly what’s happening. Thanks again for your help, I’m gonna dig in and see if I can find the problem.

So, it works. In fact it was probably working before, because I realize now that it had cached the page before I changed the settings, and that was what it was giving me.

    Total *headdesk*

Thank you so much for your assistance and thank you for the plugin. It’s great!
