Register for a service and recive confirmation email

  • I would like to add a feature to my site were customers register for a service

    Go to the site.
    Click a big register button
    Enter details like email first name last mobile number
    Collected data is stored in a database
    An email is generated confirming registration
    The email contains a UNIQUE registration number generated by the website

    Is this a feature available via a plug-in?

    Can anyone recommend a plug-in to do this, preferably a free one?
