    Hello

    First of all, thanks for this great and easy to use plugin! I want to use this for a humanitarian auction.

    I have a question concerning the registration and first sign-in. After having registered one has to sign-in. The problem is though, that after the first sign-in, you get automatically directed into the wordpress dashboard where you can verify and adjust your personal data.

    This is unnecessary for potential bidders and very confusing as well. How could I avoid this “dashboard-experience” and direct the bidders directly back to the auction?

    You need to set

    >> Ultimate Auction Plugin >> Settings >> Mail

    and fill the field Front End Dashboard URL with your custom page (inside that page you need to write shortcode [wdm_user_dashboard]

    Thank you very much. I have done this, but I still have the same problem:

    1. Register with name and e-mail
    2. Go to e-mail and create password
    3. Sign-in with name and password
    4. Automatically you get to the dashboard instead of the auction-page…
    5. After that you have to go manually back to the auction page.

    Do you have the same procedure or is it something with my page only?

    You need to set

    >> Ultimate Auction Plugin >> Settings >> Auctions

    and then… fill the field “Front End Dashboard URL” with your custom page (inside that page you need to write shortcode [wdm_user_dashboard]

    No problem, I got it when you told me the first time :). But I still have to go through the same procedure as described above. Is this just the way it is supposed to be? I asked my father to register for the auction but he was too confused. I am afraid, if he does not get it, then it will be too confusing for the average bidder…

    i solved the problem by using a login plugin that allowed me to redirect directly to the wanted page after signing in.

    hi mnada.

    i used Memphis Custom Login (for the general login site) and Sexy Login (a widget that you can use in your posts). Both allow you to redirect to every URL you want.
