Regenerating with Force Regenerate Thumbnails / Simple Image Formats

  • Hi there,

    I added a watermark to a specific image format and attempted to regenerate it with the Force Regenerate Thumbnails and Simple Image Formats plugins. None of these worked.

    Regenerating via “Apply watermark” works, but I’m wondering if it would be possible to make the regeneration work with other plugins as well, as those may be preferred by users. Thanks.

    Don’t know about Force Regenerate Thumbnails and Simple Image Formats. We’ve used it with the popular Regenerate Thumbnails and Ajax Thumbnails Rebuild.

    But the logic should be simple, when image sizes are regenerated from original, it doesn’t really matter what plugin you use for this as long as it works properly. IW does not require any special functinality for this.

    Maybe you’ve been served cached images?

    btw. Apply watermark is not indended for image regeneration – it’s for applying watermark to selected images.
