Regenerate thumbnails for images that are in other folders

Hello,
I have I transferred images of the old site and registered them using the plugin “Add From server”. Also updated the paths in the database so that they are displayed correctly. The images shown correctly in posts, but I want generate the thumbnails for each images.
When regenerating thumbnails I get an error:
failed to resize. The error message was: The originally uploaded image file cannot be found at …/public_html/wp-content/uploads/adam_scott.jpg beacuse this files is in another directory (imgg). …/public_html/wp-content/uploads/imgg/adam_scott.jpg
How I can change the folder or include subfolder for regeneration process?
