Regarding Weird Folder or zip file Appearing in the main WP folder

  • Hi

    I’m seeing weird folder in my main Wp
    installation folder or sometimes a zip file
    if i delete it appears again in in few hours time.

    Then i notice that my site was also blacklist in PhishTank
    after this incident.

    I’m using the latest WP, updated themes, plugin and MYSQL.

    Need your advice

    Install the plugin Wordfence plugin and scan your site.

    Thanks for the info

    i have scan removed and it comes back
    I also have ithemes, cerber, bulletproofto defend
    but it’s failing

    In case this is outputted by a plugin or theme, please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem. –

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    When I can see this folders in my default WP installation

    /file/password/index.php
    /file/style.css
    /file/index.php
    /file/send.php
    /file/error_log
    /file/Docusign200002.zip
    /file1/password/index.php
    /file1/style.css
    /file1/index.php
    /file1/send.php

    It’s certainly not a WP file
