    Hi

First, Thank you for the great plugin.

I have noticed sitemap is not re-submitting automatically / daily at google webmaster account. I have to manually re-submit the sitemap each time. For example last sitemap submitted on 21st oct. today again i had to manually re-submit it .

Note: i make post daily 3/4 on my blog, sitemap is getting updated with new post url https://mysite.com/post-sitemap.xml but not in webmaster account.

Is there any way every time when i post something or have a new url sitemap will resubmit to webmaster account or daily basis ?

Any help will be appreciated, Thanks ??

    Hi Guys ,
I am still looking forward, any help ?

    Hi,

Then a new post is made, provided that the sitemap has been submitted correctly, Yoast will then ping Google to come crawl the sitemap. It is then up to Google to decide when it will do that. Sometimes it is instantly, sometimes there is a delay. Google crawls your site on an algorithm so there is nothing you can do to make Google to come crawl it. Google just decides.

We would suggest when you make a new post monitor it and see if it appears in Google within 24 to 48 hours. Though, you can test it immediately by using Fetch as GoogleBot. This guide explains more: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6065812?hl=en

If you are not sure if you submitted your sitemap correctly you can use this guide to check and confirm: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/submit-sitemap-search-engines/#google

    Hi

    Thanks for your reply .

After making a post i can see the post link in sitemap immediately. But the link/post is not appear to google search neither sitemap gets updated in google webmaster account.

All i have to do is, i need to submit the new url manually https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url here or need to resubmit entire post_sitemap in webmaster account then it appears to google search result (may take some time).

I have another site running with “all in one SEO” its sitemap gets re-submitted in google webmaster account daily automatically.

So i was just thinking why sitemap not resubmit in webmaster account like the other one ? or is there any way to do this like cron job to submit sitemap daily .

    Thanks

    Hi,

We apologize about our delay in responding. We are working through forum posts. In regards to the sitemap issue, when a post is made the sitemap is updated. When that happens Yoast will automatically ping Google to come crawl it.

However, it is up to Google to then come and crawl the sitemap. It may crawl it instantly, it may come and crawl part of the sitemap and then come back and crawl the other part, etc. Google crawls your site on an algorithm, Yoast only pings Google.

You are not expected to resubmit your sitemap each time to make a post. In this manner, we are not sure why Google is failing to crawl your site each time the sitemap is updated.

Can you confirm that no errors appear in your Google Search Console for the sitemap? If so, can you describe them?

If no errors are appearing we suggest speaking to Google for more information as to why they are not crawling your site as expected, as Yoast is outputting (and updating) the sitemap as expected. You may?contact Google by making a post on their forums: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/webmasters.
