• I am getting two errors in pagespeed insights.
    1. Elements use prohibited ARIA attributes
    2. Image elements do not have [alt] attributes – Only for the featured image even when I have added the alt attribute in featured image like that of other images, but still the issue is same

How can I resolve both these issues?

    Hi there,

    1. Which elements that being flagged for this?
    2. Do you have any image optimization plugins installed on your site? There was a similar issue before where the optimization plugin altered the output of the image HTML, causing the alt tag to be stripped.

I have lite speed cache plugin while it is only writing alt attributes missing for featured image, rest images are completely fine.

I am facing an another issue. The problem is, even though I delete the old image, and then upload the new one with the same name, the image never updates to new resolution and still shows the old image resolution. If I change the name of the file then it shows correctly, but I really don’t want to rename them! My first thought was that the images were just cached on my browser, so I cleared my cache, but the images are still showing the old versions. I tried different browsers and different devices with the same result.

How can I solve this? Why is this same name using the resolution of previous images and this is happening with only 2-3 images rest all are working fine even when I am using the same image name as that of earlier?

this is not a theme related issue. Its something you should ask in the general WP support forums.
