Regarding discount codes combining

    Hello!

    PLEASE HELP! ??

    I really hope you can help me. I am using Woocommerce discount codes for regular discount codes like “10 % off your order” or “10 % off barbecues” etc.

    Then I am using a plugin called Pricing deals PRO for more advanced discount codes like “buy a bbq and get this package of bbq accessories for free”.

    However, I am having problems with making sure that the discount codes cannot be combined.

    In Pricing deals settings I have this option checked “allow no cart pricing deals if woo coupon standalone discount”.
    Also, on EVERY discount code I ever create I always check “can’t be combined with other discount codes”, both in the Pricing deals plugin and inside the Woocommerce discount codes.

    Despite this I am having trouble.

    Right now I have a Pricing deals discount code that gives you a free package of bbq accessories (paket21), I also have a regular Woocommerce coupon code that gives you 10 % off your whole order (nyhetsbrev10). These should not be able to be combined with the settings I have, yet, they do, at least if I first write the pricing deals coupon, followed by the Woocommerce coupon.

    My questions are:
    – If I check “can’t be combined with other discount codes” in the Woocommerce discount codes, should that not apply to all discount codes, even Pricing deals discount codes? What does it actually mean?

    – Is there anything in my WOOCOMMERCE settings for discount codes that I can edit to fix this problem?

    (I have been in contact with Pricing deals and still am, but I just thought maybe the problem is with Woocmmerce)

    In theory, that should work, however, you would need to double check with the Pricing deals PRO plugin authors to double check how their plugin interacts with the core WooCommerce coupon settings. You mentioned you are already speaking with them, which is a great start.

    Also, I do not see a “can’t be combined with other discount codes” box with core WooCommerce coupons. How are you creating the non-Pricing deals PRO coupons? Is that through another plugin, or WooCommerce core? I see the following text under “Usage Restriction”:

    Individual use only: Check this box if the coupon cannot be used in conjunction with other coupons.

    I can confirm when that box is checked, the coupon in question will not work if another coupon has already been applied. Again, I cannot speak for coupons built by a third-party, you will need to confirm with them.
